41 Pounds is an organization that is helping reduce the amount of environmental impact that junk mail is producing each year. On average about 41 pounds of junk mail are sent out each year to a customer. Millions of trees are being cut down and destroyed each year in order to produce the amount of paper needed for junk mail that will eventually end up in landfill producing tons of carbon dioxide.
