New Frontier for Farm to Table

The farm-to-table movement has been a staple of Portland eateries since the early 1990s. But the farm-to-table movement is expanding out of the fine-dining arena into new territory: pubs, cafes, and chains. The movement has helped sustain rural farmers despite the economic downturn, and is expanding the farm-to-table movement to those who might not traditionally go out of their way to participate.
