Will Bhaskar Save Be the Gandhi of Natural Farming?

Will Bhaskar Save Be the Gandhi of Natural Farming?

Bhaskar Save, who was highly influenced by Ghandi, has been dubbed by some to be the "Gandhi of Natural Farming." Save has reduced the external inputs on his farm while increasing productivity using natural farming methods. Save stresses the importance of local self-reliance, respect for all life  translating it into nonviolent farming, and the integral role everything in the web of life plays.  Save has constantly pushed his country to adopt practices which celebrate this abundance of life, rather than strangling it in a push for modernization and 'better' synthetic inputs. Save firmly believes  scientists should be learning how to work with nature and that none  can produce abundance better than nature.
