Children of the 80's: Leaving Behind the Cream of...Soups
Michele Merxbauer and her husband grew up as children of the 1980's: dinner consisted of meat, potatoes and a canned vegetable. As they became parents, they became increasingly concerned about the food they were giving their kids. Michele tells of her conversion moment upon realizing that all the baby good in her local grocery — organic and otherwise — all had a shelf life of 3+ years. By starting out with making her own baby food, Michele's family now makes daily choices about creating a healthier life for themselves.
