Diet…just the word can conjure a negative image but one definition is “the foods that we choose to eat regularly”. These days the reason that people choose “diets” is multifaceted: health, the environment, compassion for animals, for health maintenance, to lose weight, to reverse disease, for religious or cultural reasons and the list can go on. It seems that these days it’s almost status quo to state your dietary preference. Sometimes people just want to belong to a larger movement. No matter the “diet”, its important to keep wise food choices in mind.
