Glynwood is an agricultural nonprofit organization based in Cold Spring, New York. We work toward our mission of ensuring that farming thrives in the Hudson Valley by developing and implementing core programs that enhance the viability of farming in our region. Our 225-acre farm is a working model for regenerative practices that serves as a training ground for apprentices while providing fresh, locally-produced food to our community. An important part of our work is to document and share what we learn. Our Farmer Training programs foster the next generation of agricultural entrepreneurs who will create viable farm businesses and bring more Hudson Valley land into production. The goal of our Hudson Valley Food program is to further distinguish the region for its food by building networks around area producers and culinary professionals who share a common interest or need in local food production. Our unique facility serves as a hub for creative thinking, networking and problem-solving, where we convene changemakers to advance the sustainable food movement. While these programs are primarily aimed at serving food and farming professionals, we offer a variety of public events that engage, inform and inspire our surrounding community.
