Kathryn Colasanti is a Specialist with the Michigan State University Center for Regional Food Systems where she has coordinated a statewide food systems policy initiative since 2009. Also active in research, she has published on urban agriculture, farm-to-school, farmers markets and school food supply chains. Kathryn is particularly interested in healthy food access and health equity. She holds an M.S. in Community Food and Agriculture from Michigan State University. Before coming to Michigan State University, Kathryn coordinated urban garden health initiatives with a community garden non-profit organization in Denver, Colorado.
