Four top chefs team up as part of a national Chefs Collaborative fundraising effort to raise public awareness about overfishing, and create demand for less threatened fish species. Trash Fish Dinner promotes consumer awareness by introducing desirable alternatives to massively over-fished species. Turning attention to less threatened “trash fish,” lower on the food chain, will help to restore a more sustainable balance to fish population levels.
